1st Philippine Tourism Awards 2025: Recognizing Excellence in Hospitality and Tourism

The Philippine Tourism Awards 2025 was held on September 8, 2025, at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila, bringing together the country’s leading figures and institutions in the field of tourism and hospitality. The prestigious event highlighted the industry’s unwavering commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation in promoting the Philippines as a world-class destination.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, who underscored the government’s continuous support for programs and initiatives that strengthen the country’s global competitiveness in tourism.

Serving as one of the National Judges was Arch. Tasarra Principal Arch of TASARRA + Architects, who participated in the evaluation of the Resort Apartments Category, a highly competitive division that received 38 qualified entries from various regions of the Philippines. His architectural expertise and professional experience contributed significantly to the meticulous assessment process, ensuring that the winners truly embodied design excellence, functionality, and guest experience of the highest standard.

The Philippine Tourism Awards continues to be a vital platform in recognizing outstanding achievements within the industry, inspiring both public and private stakeholders to elevate Philippine tourism to greater heights.

The Tourism Industry Awards, winners were selected from 102 finalists narrowed down from 353 applicants. Categories included Hotels, Resorts, Tourist Transport Operators, Tour Operators, MICE venues, Community Tour Guides, Tourism Journalists, and more.
