Theme: “Mobility and Collaboration: Network, Knowledge, and Opportunity”
Phnom Penh, Cambodia — The Philippines, through the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture (PRBoA) and the United Architects of the Philippines Committee on Global Practice (ASEAN Practice), formally participated in the 5th ASEAN Architects Congress held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The event gathered architecture leaders, policymakers, and professional organizations across Southeast Asia to advance regional cooperation under the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) for Architectural Services.
This year’s congress, anchored on the theme “Mobility and Collaboration: Network, Knowledge, and Opportunity,” emphasized the growing importance of professional mobility and cross-border practice within the ASEAN region.

The Philippine delegation engaged in various plenary sessions, working meetings, and technical discussions focused on harmonizing standards, strengthening professional competencies, and enhancing the role of architecture in sustainable and resilient development. The country’s participation underscores its continued commitment to supporting regional integration efforts and ensuring that Filipino architects remain competitive and recognized within the ASEAN community.
The 5th ASEAN Architects Congress reaffirmed the collective vision of cultivating a dynamic, collaborative, and future-ready architectural profession—one that upholds excellence, innovation, and shared responsibility across borders.
The PRC, PRBoA and The United Architects of the Philippines Thru its Committee on Global Architects (ASEAN Practice) extend their appreciation to the ASEAN Architect Council and the host country, Cambodia, for facilitating a successful and meaningful congress.
